Green hardback binding with brown-reddish spine and spine-hinges. Copious gilt-coloured titles and description of contents to spine.
Condition: this old book has once been a library book; the name Farmer Holt 1880 inside blank cover page in pencil. Inside back cover General Knowledge hand-written in pencil and latterly one item in ink. Comprehensive reference index at the end. The green cover of the hard cardboard is discoloured with spots. The great sadness is the spine cover with gilt lettering is very worn. For preservation a thick plastic cover has been made to retain from any further loss.
